Gift Ideas: How to Make Vintage Button Post Earrings

Around the holiday season, its always fun to find cute little crafts that can be given as hostess gifts or gifts for family and friends. It's even more fun when you can be thoughtful without breaking the bank. This craft will take less than ten minutes and all the supplies you probably already have or can be bought for less than $10. All you'll need is some vintage buttons, a hook remover (depending on the button), hot glue gun, earring posts and backs, and paint (if you chose to change the color).


1. Remove the hook on the back of your button getting as close to the surface as possible.


2. Glue on your posts and let sit for at least 2-3 hours.
