Article: Vintage Shopping Tour

Behind the Scenes: Second Coming

Look for the February issue of St. Louis magazine.  There is a wonderful article on second hand shopping featuring Borough Vintage, Women's Closet Exchange, and Rung.  Fashion editor, Nicole Benoist Edgerton does a wonderful job of explaining the difference between vintage and secondhand resale shops:

 "Before setting foot in such stores, one should note a key distinction: While all vintage is secondhand, not all secondhand is vintage. (A good rule of thumb is that vintage is at least 25 years old.)"

I just want to say a heartfelt "Thank You" to St. Louis Magazine for naming me one of St Louis' Best Dressed for 2010.  The magazine hosted a wonderful reception on Thursday, August 26th, at Plaza Frontenac, to honor the recipients. StLouis Magazine: A-List Awards 2010

Wow!  Borough Vintage won St Louis Magazine's 2010 A-List Award for "Best Women's Vintage Clothing".  The boutique received a plaque from StLouis Magazine and a great spread in their July 2010 issue.  Here are the pics.  I can't wait to get a copy from the news stand.
