Here's a look at three different takes on ruffled plaid shirts. I think these shirts look best with a slim/skinny jean. Since the shirt has ruffles and puff sleeves - there's no need for a lot of addditonal ornamentation.

I'm not usually a fan of plaid, but these are great. I especially like the second one. H&M did some good ruffled plaid tops this past season, too.
Makes me feel young again! I used to wear these....
